Granny is not feeling well, and so Mommy is tending to her this weekend. We will be back next week with the new pattern for our (we Kruselings) new top and pinafore! In the meantime, here’s a sneak preview of the shirt, almost finished, and a photo of the shared quilt Mommy and Auntie S. have been sending back and forth all year, but are now ready to actually quilt!

The shirt just needs the yarn ends finished off and snaps put on the back opening. We like the frilly sleeve cuffs.

Mommy and Auntie S. had a whole lot of fun working on this, because each time they sent it off to one another, they never knew what they would get back! In June, they are going to work together to make some wall hangings with chickens on them…we know, that sounds weird, but wait until you see – they are going to be “supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!”
So sorry to hear that Granny is under the weather. Hope she feels better soon.
The quilt looks wonderful. Looking forward to watching the new one evolve.
Thank you, Auntie R.. Granny is getting better.
I really like the very pretty quilt with four hands. Your Mom and Aunt S must have a blast creating them. I really like the little characters.
How big is this beautiful work?
Of course, I won’t show your beautiful shirt to your cousins because otherwise they’ll be impatient to have the same one.
Kudos to you, Cynthia.
Kisses
Edwige
Thank you, Auntie E.. The two people on the bench in the quilt are Mommy and Auntie S.! Mommy is the cross stitcher, and Auntie S. is the knitter. The other characters are just fun ones. We wish Mommy had been able to finish our pinafore for this week, but at least Granny is getting better. Our cousins will really like our pinafore when it is done though, because it is such a pretty colour. Mommy says “patience is a virtue,” so we are trying our best to be very patient here, too! 🙂
Merci, Tatie E.. 🙂
I do hope your granny will feel better soon.
Your shirt is lovely and very feminine. I am looking forward to seeing your new pinafore.
And the shared quilt is both unique and beautiful.
Thank you, Auntie L.! Granny is getting better, and wait until you see our new pinafore! It is such a pretty colour. The shared quilt was Auntie S.’s idea, and Mommy says it was an excellent one as they had so much fun creating it together. 🙂
