Sized for Sasha!

Heidi was yearning for a housecoat like her little sisters, so I resized the pattern to fit her. Unfortunately, my local yarn store was in very short supply, so there were not many choices for this housecoat. I ended up using a Lion Brand yarn called Truboo, a rayon yarn made from bamboo. It was a difficult yarn to work with as it kept splitting, and ended up pilling quite a bit on the final product. I planned to retry the housecoat in a regular worsted weight acrylic yarn, but a heat wave this week has stalled that idea.

In any case, the pattern is being printed below if you would like to try your hand at a housecoat for your own Sasha. I have only made the housecoat the one time so far, so I am hoping there will be no errors in the pattern! Despite my dislike of the yarn used, the housecoat does fit Heidi well, and she is happy with the results. When the heatwave ends, I plan to knit this housecoat up again in a soft pink yarn for one of her sisters.
