Day One in PEI

We left for PEI on an early flight so we arrived in time to rent a car, pick up some groceries and get to our accommodations in O’Leary while it was still daylight. Our first of the three places we were going to stay was an Air BNB which was something Auntie and Mommy had never experienced before. It was within easy walking distance of a lovely quilt store and other shops like the grocery and hardware. This became really important in the next few days.
We didn’t do much that first day because we wanted to rest up for the start of our adventures on Day Two. Mommy had made us these sleeping bags as a surprise. We still love them! They are really cozy and warm, and the stars bring us sweet dreams.
Oh, by the way, the rugs are almost finished! Mommy just has to do the edgings now.

  1. One place we never been to is PEI. Your writing makes it so real for me. It’s just like being there. I just love the rugs. What a beautiful pattern. You are so talented. Thinking of you.

    • PEI is such a beautiful place, and the people there are so polite and friendly, I would love to go back some day! Thank you for your compliments. I enjoy making the dollhouse rugs, and love seeing them in the dollhouse when they are finished. Take care, and stay healthy in this pandemic time.
